Subaru has a long history of rally racing world wide with the WRX and many victories and championships to show for their efforts. The WRX here State side has been a favorite with performance minded drivers. The only requirement is special racing safety items like a roll cage to go racing and the 2013 Subaru WRX is basically a street legal race car; the Subaru WRX Special Edition is no exception.
The 2013 Subaru WRX Special Edition will hit the showroom floors this spring and is limited to the 4 door sedan WRX and WRX STI model line in very limited numbers. Subaru has built 200 WRX models and 100 of the WRX STI models for the U.S. market place. The 2013 Subaru WRX Special Edition rolls in a beautiful tangerine orange paint and is off set in black. The incredible tangerine paint is deep and rich in color and covers the WRX body flawlessly. The Special Edition WRX runs special black wheels, black fender badges and black mirrors.
The 2013 Subaru WRX Special Edition will have an exceptional dark interior with the normal WRX and WRX STI trim with the exception of the dark materials and tangerine stitching on the seats, doors, floor mats and shifter handle.
Powering the 2013 Subaru WRX Special Edition is the 265 horse power turbo boxer for the WRX and 305horse power for the WRX STI turbo boxer engine. Both models have symmetrical all wheel drive with the WRX STI having a modified multimode driver controlled center differential and intelligent drive to handle whatever you throw at it. Pricing is not in for the 2013 Subaru WRX Special Edition at this time and no real estimates either. The normal version of the WRX is around $25,500 and the WRX STI will run about $35,000.
