The 2013 Audi R8 GT Spyder Has the Heart Beat of a Bull
When Audi purchased Lamborghini back in the late 1990s it just did not seen to make a lot of sense. It was just a matter of time and the super car manufacture was turning out machines that were better quality than ever before. Surely this technology has trickled down the pipeline and has been filtered into the Audi performance line up? The 2013 Audi R8 GT Spyder may just be Audi’s swan song of the entire R8 line up.
The heart and soul of the 2013 Audi R8 GT Spyder comes via Sant’Agata Bolognese in the form of a beautiful 5.2 liter V/10 engine turning out some 560 horsepower. Now the engine is not new to the R8 line but the new tune and lack of the top is sure to put a smile on your face but may send your riding partner to the hair salon.
The 2013 Audi R8 GT Spyder may have the heart beat of a bull but the design is all Audi. Just a simple walk around and you can see that the thing just looks right. Everything is near perfect with rich leather and trim in to finish off the interior. And just look at the striking lines of the body and the new front fascia. The 2013 Audi R8 GT Spyder will also see new headlights and a new set in the rear also.
The production run will be limited to 333 2013 Audi R8 GT Spyders with around 50 being imported in to the United States. The new Le Mans R8 concept that has come to life will have one more thing in common with its cousin from Italy and that’s the price. Audi says the U S market cars will sell close to $ 210,000 dollars with Genuine Audi accessories still available.
