2014 BMW X1 facelift – Pictures and details

BMW will unveil at the 2014 Detroit Motor Show an updated version of the X1. The upcoming 2014 BMW X1 facelift will go on sale next spring and will feature standard daytime driving lights and 17 inch alloy wheels.

Furthermore, the German compact crossover can be ordered with a new Sparkling Brown metallic paint. Inside the cabin, the xLine, Sport Line and M Sport versions will feature an instrument cluster visor covered in a new soft-touch material.

The optional interior trims also embellish the interior with a choice of exclusive accents in high-gloss Black, matt Coral Red or pearl-gloss Chrome. The stainless steel sill finisher protecting the bottom tailgate edge is another refinement that distinguishes the BMW X1.

More than that, the upcoming 2014 BMW X1 facelift will come with an expanded range of BMW ConnectedDrive services.

“The innovative functions can be integrated in the car’s operating system via apps, using the smartphone or the SIM card that is installed in the vehicle. The selected apps will be compatible with the Apple iPhone and with smartphones that run the Android operating system. Among the new services offered for the BMW X1 are Online Entertainment and the ECO PRO Analyser”, is said in the official statement.
